If imitation is truly the sincerest form of flattery, I’d say you really have nothing to worry about when 2012 rolls around. I have heard every scenario of the doom and destruction that is waiting to befall humankind in the year 2012 and frankly I think their all wrong. Already people are starting to run around like a chicken with its head cut off in anticipation of the total annihilation of mankind sometime around winter solstice (December 2012). From all that I have observed I can only gather that the Almighty is about to bless us in ways that have been unimaginable to us since our fleeting existence began.
Sure, things seem to have risen to their most troubled peak since anyone can remember, but so too has the opportunity for rebirth and the creation of new societal mores and principles that might surprise many people. Each and every man, woman and child on the planet have at some point espoused an unquenchable desire to get as close as glue to their maker and some are “acting” out this hunger by beginning to understand that they are starting to acquire some of the “tools” that will allow them to mimic in principal his basic feat of – creation.
Just to make it clear, throughout the devastation, unrest, destruction, economic plague and turbulent dismay of war we have begun to emerge as a smarter race of people who have vast reserves of untapped creative energies that we are just hitting upon, courtesy of computers and the Internet. Though there are those who are still only preoccupied with the pursuit of making as much “dosh” as they can, there is an underlying current that is beginning to permeate the essence of life.
It has to do with our grab for the outer reach of the greatest limitations of our minds to construct perhaps, what is the most fantastic “art” ever molded by man. It would seem that there is a bit of “letting go of the past” at stake and man’s proclivity for hanging on into the future in a sort of Yin and Yang battle for the balance of power, when such forces are totally unknown to be a part of this dichotomy. A closer marriage between “creators and performers” is on the horizon as the two begin to meld together as one and lay the foundation to a new beginning of life starting with “a new beginning of creation” – of art. I submit to you the humblest of parallels’ objectifying the mimicry that is in fact the “unaffected flattery” projecting our greatest appreciation for the gifts of life and creativity bestowed upon us all.
